Campagne sur la prévention diversifiée auprès des hommes ayant des rapports sexuels avec des hommes réalisée en France Métropolitaine en 2016 : Description d’une démarche innovante et éléments de bilan
Resumen
To raise men who have sex with men awareness of the very effective measures to constrain the HIV epidemic, a public campaign was launched by Santé publique France at the end of 2016. This article aims to describe the implementation of this campaign and its appraisal in terms of media and digital impact. While the campaign raised widespread commentary, comments were not so much on the combined HIV prevention, as on the visibility given to MSM in the public space. It generated an above-average click-through, visit and engagement rates on the Internet and social networks. If the Internet and social networks are powerful tools for reaching MSM, addressing them in the public space is made difficult by the opposition of groups who convey a homophobic discourse and move the debate towards homophobia at the expense of prevention issues. A strong mobilization of institutional and associative actors is therefore necessary both to control the terms of the debate but also to minimize the consequences of such remarks on the people concerned.- Tema:
